The Surf
El Salvador is the home of the right point break with a variety of waves breaking on each and every turn of the coastline. It hosts some of the longest and most perfect waves in Central America with some of the most rippable and user friendly waves in the world to surf. We will be going on surf missions 1-2 times daily. With that in mind, we will be taking a car to get you into the best waves possible (with the least amount of people) every day during your stay to make sure you score.
Most waves break along cobble stone rocks so we require everyone to have ocean awareness and be able to paddle themselves to and from breaks. El Salvador is a great place to take your surfing to the next level whether you are a novice / intermediate / advanced or expert. The Place - Casa Azul
Unwind at Casa Azul, a spacious oasis with ocean & sunset views. Equipped with everything you need, Casa Azul is your place to relax. Enjoy your morning coffee on our patio while listening to the birds chirping. Lounge at our ocean-facing infinity pool & indoor/outdoor patio. The yoga studio/sunset hut offers stunning views. This is your place to relax, recharge, & breathe peacefully after an epic day of surfing.
3 ocean-facing bedrooms and 2 garden view bedrooms offer a perfect space to relax and recharge. Come enjoy what this special part of the world has to offer! All bedrooms have individual ceiling fans and A/C units. Casa Azul is in a private gated community of Cerromar, ensuring privacy, 24/7 security, and peacefulness. The house is a 3 min drive from the beach and the surf breaks of Sunzal, El Tunco, and La Bocana. It is a 15 min drive to El Zonte or La Libertad and 20 minutes from the San Salvador, El Salvador Airport. Back at the Casa Azul, you can relax to the sound of gentle waves and palms swaying in the breeze.
The Sunset Hut offers beautiful ocean views and a lovely space to do yoga and stretch. Additionally we have space in the office and common rooms to set up indoor depending on weather.

El Salvador Mission
We will be staying in a beautiful house on a mountain top 3 mins drive from the beach over looking our beloved Pacific Ocean near the town Sunzal. Our mission is to provide you the most authentic, local experience while being in El Salvador. With the variety of waves to choose from and the help of our local friends, we will get you into amazing waves without the hassle of the wild goose chase. Exploring has always been part of surf missions, so we have options readily available for you to go see the beautiful country of El Salvador. Whether it’s site-seeing the beautiful cities, Mayan ruins, swimming near water falls, fishing tours, or going to coffee plantations - our goal is to have our guests get the most out of their stay in and out of the water.
We can also have fresh coffee delivered to the house, grocery delivery, massages at your accommodations, etc. There are plenty of add-on's and if you don't want to surf you can relax at home or go on a day tour - non-surfers, families, and significant others are welcome.
With that being said... will be charging it to surf early each morning in order to get the best conditions and score the best waves possible. Through our experience, we know the best way to do a surf trip to El Salvador is to have a car, as swell direction, size, and wind makes certain breaks better than others at different times and days. Everything is close by (10-20 minute drives) and with a car it's possible to score more than one session a day. We also get to see more of El Salvador and will have a lunch/brunch at cool places and surf towns everyday after our surfs.
As surfers we know we need to go on missions to score the best waves. photos and videos nightly clip review. Some of your sessions will be filmed by professional photographers and you will take home some water photos. We will review clips back at the house and you can go over your surfing with Timmy.

Prices starting at $1950 for a shared room, $2250 for a private room, $2550 for the master bedroom. Prices are per person.

Book Flights
Avianca and United Airlines have multiple flights daily to the San Salvador, El Salvador Airport (SAN) which is only 20 minutes from your accommodations. To take advantage of the airport transportation included in the package, fly into San Salvador International Airport (SAN) arriving in the afternoon on the date your retreat starts and flying out before noon on the date your retreat ends. We understand if you cannot find a good schedule or favorable flight from your city arriving or departing within those windows. We can also book a private taxi for whenever you arrive and depart if your flights do not fall within our time windows. We understand the need to be flexible when traveling and are happy to work with our guests to arrange the transportation during your stay and always include airport transfers.
